Coverage periods, refund terms, data handling, and pickup & delivery rules in one place.

1. Repair Warranty

All repair services come with a standard warranty from the date of service completion.

βœ“ Warranty covers defects in workmanship and parts installed by Fix It Sukil only.

⚠Does not cover physical damage caused after repair (e.g., new drops or spills).

⚠Any unauthorized opening of the chassis or tampering voids the warranty.

⚠Motherboard Repair warranty is strictly limited to the specific fault reported and repaired. New or unrelated issues are not covered.

⚠No warranty applies when parts are sourced by the customer. Labour charges still apply.

1a. Extended Warranty Add-On

Extend your repair warranty. Must be purchased before or at the time of device collection.

1b. Parts & Manufacturer Warranty

β†’Manufacturer warranty ranges from 1 month to 10 years depending on part and brand.

β†’Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer and are separate from Fix It Sukil's service warranty.

β†’Proof of purchase and part details provided upon request.

⚠Manufacturer warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or liquid damage after installation.

2. Payment & Refund Policy

βœ“We accept bank transfers (Maybank, CIMB, etc.), QRPay, card payments, Shopee PayLater, Boost PayFlex.

βœ“Full payment is due after service completion, unless otherwise arranged.

βœ“If you cancel before pickup, no charges will apply. If after pickup, a RM 30 inspection fee applies.

No-Refund Policy

⚠Service charges (labour) are non-refundable once repair is completed and device returned.

⚠Extended warranty add-on fees are non-refundable once purchased.

⚠Pickup/delivery fees are non-refundable once the trip has been made.

Refund Exception

A refund of the original service charge may be considered only if: the same fault recurs within the active warranty period AND Fix It Sukil has made all reasonable attempts to rectify the fault AND all warranty claim options are exhausted.

2a. Repair Deposits, Delays & Cancellations

Some repairs require us to order a part specially for your device (e.g. screen, keyboard, or battery panel). These terms apply to those jobs.

βœ“A deposit β€” typically 50% of the quoted total β€” is collected upfront to place the part order. The balance is due on completion.

β†’Completion estimates (for example ~14 working days for special-order parts) are given in good faith. Supplier stock and shipping can affect timing; we will keep you updated on any delay.

If a part arrives defective, or the wrong part is supplied

βœ“We will source a replacement at no extra cost to you under our supplier warranty.

βœ“If the replacement would cause a significant further delay and you prefer not to wait, you may cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit. Delays caused by us or our supplier are never charged to you.

Cancellation by the customer

If you decide not to proceed (and the part is not defective):

βœ“Before we order the part β€” your deposit is refunded in full (less the RM 30 inspection fee if the device was already inspected or picked up).

β†’After the part is ordered, and the part can be returned to our supplier β€” deposit refunded less any supplier restocking fee and the RM 30 inspection fee.

⚠After the part is ordered, where the part cannot be returned β€” the part-cost portion of the deposit is non-refundable, and you are welcome to keep the ordered part. Any remaining balance of the deposit is refunded.

⚠After the repair is completed β€” non-refundable (see Section 2).

β†’Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 7 working days.

3. Data Privacy & Liability

βœ“We handle your data with utmost care β€” no software or personal files are accessed without permission.

⚠While we take all precautions, we are not liable for data loss. Back up important files before service.

β†’In the unlikely event of further hardware damage during service, our liability is limited to the original repair fee.

4. Pickup & Delivery Terms

βœ“Free pickup/delivery across Greater Klang Valley (within a 30 km radius).

βœ“We aim to pick up your device within 24 hours of booking confirmation.

βœ“Delivery typically made within 2 business days of repair completion.

5. Shop Product Returns & Exchanges

Policy for physical products purchased from the Fix It Sukil online shop (accessories, parts, and hardware).

βœ“Items may be returned within 7 days of receipt if found to be defective or not as described.

βœ“Exchanges are accepted for defective items β€” we will send a replacement once the faulty item is received.

βœ“Item must be in original, unused condition and include original packaging where applicable.

⚠Returns are not accepted for change-of-mind purchases β€” defective or wrong item only.

⚠Digital products (software licence keys, Windows, Microsoft 365, antivirus) are non-returnable and non-refundable once the key has been delivered by email.

⚠Return shipping cost is borne by the customer unless the item was incorrectly sent by us.
