"How much will it cost?" is the first question everyone asks — and most repair shops won't tell you until you've already handed over your laptop. We do it differently. Below are our fixed, confirmed service charges for the most common laptop repairs in Malaysia, so you know roughly what to expect before you contact us. Prices are for labour/service; replacement parts (where needed) are quoted separately after a free diagnosis.
Laptop hinge repair
A wobbly screen, cracking around the corners, or a lid that won't stay open — classic hinge failure. It's one of our most common repairs and usually fixable in about a working day.
- →Normal laptop (round charging port): RM 210
- →Advanced / business laptop (Type-C port): RM 210
- →Gaming laptop (discrete GPU): RM 250
More on this in our laptop hinge repair guide.
Screen replacement
Service charge starts at RM 100 (RM 180 for gaming laptops). The screen panel itself is billed separately once we confirm your exact model and resolution — panel cost varies a lot between a basic HD screen and a high-resolution or touch panel, which is why we quote it after diagnosis rather than guessing.
Battery replacement
Flat RM 85 service charge for all laptops; the battery unit is billed separately. If your laptop only runs while plugged in, drops charge suddenly, or the battery is swollen (stop using it immediately), it's time for a replacement.
Charging port repair
Flat RM 230 for all laptops. If your charger only works at a certain angle, or the laptop won't charge at all, the DC jack or USB-C port is often the culprit.
Keyboard replacement
- →Normal / business laptop: RM 100 (+ keyboard unit)
- →Gaming laptop: RM 120 (+ keyboard unit)
Motherboard repair
Component-level motherboard repair (no power, no display, liquid damage, shorts). Turnaround is typically 3–5 working days as we diagnose and test:
- →Normal laptop: RM 300
- →Advanced / business laptop: RM 380
- →Gaming laptop: RM 450
- →Desktop: RM 480
Cleaning & thermal service
- →Laptop cleaning + thermal paste: RM 100
- →Desktop basic cleaning: RM 100
- →Desktop deep cleaning: RM 150
What affects the final price?
- →Parts: proprietary parts on premium ultrabooks and gaming laptops cost more than standard parts
- →Part availability: locally stocked parts are cheaper and faster than imported ones
- →Extent of damage: e.g. a hinge repair left too long can also damage the display cable
- →Model: budget laptops with standardised parts are generally cheaper to repair
💡 Free diagnosis, free quote, no obligation. We confirm the exact cost — service + any parts — before any work begins. If a repair isn't worth it for your laptop's age and condition, we'll tell you honestly.
